Lovely close-up! Would be even stronger image if you had removed the stick/stem.

@Shar: Thank you Shar. Didnt have too much time to concentrate on the composition as it was freezing. Had snowed the previous night and the walkway was cleared enough for the flower to stand on its own. But, I agree..
